The Juilliard School is committed to ensuring that the members of its community have an equal opportunity to learn, work, and thrive regardless of race, national origin, color, sex, gender identity, sexual preference, religion, age, disability, and any other legally protected status. To foster these values, Juilliard’s learning and working environment must be free from all forms of prohibited discrimination and sex-based misconduct. The Office of Non-Discrimination and Title IX provides support through a variety of resources to anyone who may be subject to or aware of possible violations of The Non-Discrimination Policy or The Sex-Based Misconduct Policy
Thank you for reaching this page. The laws implementing Title IX are in flux. As of January 9th, 2025, a federal district court has ruled that the Education Department’s 2024 Title IX Final Rule violates the law throughout the US. In light of this decision, we are reviewing our policy and making necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with all applicable laws. If you are seeking to bring a complaint under the Policy below, or have any questions regarding the Policy, please contact Jason Kane-Seitz, Title IX Coordinator at [email protected] or at 212-496-4823.
